Lyon – Saint-Véran:
1) Fast: Lyon – Chambéry – Tunnel Fréjus – Montginevro – Briançon – Guillestre – Ville Vieille : 310 km; estimated travel time 4 hours.
2) Shortest: Lyon – Grenoble – Briançon – Guillestre – Ville Vieille : 267 km est. Time : 4h28m.
Torino – Saint-Véran: (Via Col Angel): 180 km; estimated travel time: 2h35m.
For those participants with cars:
There is NO gaz station at Saint-Véran.
Nearest gas station is in Ville Vieille (9 km from Saint-Véran) – expensive
Best choice is to fill up at Guillestre (Intermarche Gaz Station junction D902A and D86) some 30 km from Saint-Véran.

Hotel – Observatory:
For those participants who are allowed to have rental car… please do it so you can help bringing other participants to the observatory.
Please keep in mind that:
- it takes one hour to dive up to the Observatory
- ambient temperature on a nice day is around 15°C. Dress accordingly.
- good shoes, sun protection and sun glasses are needed at high altitude
Idea is to leave hotel during the campaign at 07:30. Nothing to plan in advance.

Important: There is no fork lift truck available – make sure your cartons are not too big.
Make sure you have shipping instructions for shipment back.
Shipments from outside the EU free customs zone should provide detailed info of the content of the shipment (“proforma invoice” and seize and weight).
